About

My adventures in (and attempts to decipher)everything that is overtly ignored by most. My admittedly mostly grossly uninformed ramblings about various topics. And some that I might actually know something about.

There is a difference between the pain you cause yourself and the pain controlled by others. You can find joy easily in the latter, as you cannot control what others do; then, you still have your self-respect, your self-love. When you cause the destruction yourself, the only thing you’re left with is the knowledge you have to be different. That you are at fault. You cannot fall back on being proud of yourself or anything easy like that. You have to change.

You can’t honestly say it is.

FYI: this was a legit advertisement that came in a mail bundle. At first I thought the people on it were sim-people, but they’re just really ridiculously cliche.

The Calendar girl

|  Stars

One of my favorite songs, by one of my favorite bands.

Gives you the feeling that everything will be ok.

In the most beautiful, least melodramatic way.

  • Question: Yes, do your damn paper. What's it on? Is it a stupid topic? If so, I understand your not doing it right now. Or wanting to do it ever. But you GOTTA. - dubiousmerchant
  • Answer:

Not a stupid topic, a fine topic…just not extremely thought-provoking I guess? I have to relate a topic in the current congress (namely, health care) to topics in a book that discusses why government has essentially stopped “working”.  Essentially show that the status quo is still in place w/ the health care bill and why.

    I’m just procrastinating….but i’m chugging along.

    thanks for the push lol

Ok—-how cool is this shoe scenario?
1. I am the cheetah shoes. Love those darn things.
2. Artist kid w/ his sketchpad rocking some bright orange hightops. Love that.
3. THE GIRL WITH OPPOSITELY MATCHING TOES AND SHOES!!! I LOVE THIS infinity.

Random shoe soulmates on the el. Coincidence? I think not.
