Hello, hope, my old friend.  It’s been a while, but i am super psyched that you’re back. I’ve missed you terribly.

Your little imposters, the crazy desperate type of hope-moments that happen when things get really sucky had me thinking you’d changed.

I was worried, I’ll admit.

I thought I’d seen you at your best, and now you’ve passed your peak and descended.

I’m glad I was wrong.

It’s lovely to be with you.
